4Beach Holds Ribbon_Cutting & Celebration
A new fun family gift shop in Manchester-by-the-Sea is off to a sweet start. 4 BEACH Gifts & Goodies marked its 100th day of business over the weekend with a community celebration that brought in hundreds of customers to enjoy great deals, pumpkin decorating and free treats from the store’s already popular candy bar. The Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce CEO Ken Riehl led a ribbon cutting ceremony in front of the shop’s bright yellow door at 4 Beach Street. The ceremony was attended by elected leaders, local residents and the 4 BEACH owners Liz, Dean, Pam & Jennifer Brown. The siblings are excited to carry on the family tradition of running a business downtown in their father Paul P’s former real estate office. They grew up working at their family’s grocery store Browns Market where they learned how to treat customers with respect and give back to the community. Both Manchester selectman Tom Kehoe and MA State Representative Brad Hill congratulated the owners and emphasized the importance of supporting small businesses during the internet-age of on-line shopping. 4 BEACH offers a wide variety of Manchester by-the Sea merchandise including birthday gifts, classic toys, apparel, home goods and unique jewelry cards and paintings from local artisans. The store is opened 7 days a week and the website is 4beachshop.com.
